The Peoria Riverfront Museum, the nation's sole multidisciplinary museum, integrates art, science, history, and achievement to foster confidence, lifelong learning, and talent. Since 2012, it has provided over a million experiences through exhibitions, interactive galleries, a planetarium, a giant screen theater, and educational programming. Accredited by AAM and affiliated with the Smithsonian, the nonprofit museum is housed in a LEED Gold-certified building. It manages a permanent collection of 15,000 objects and organizes over 20 exhibitions annually, along with educational programs and partnerships with 200+ community and national entities.
